Every now and then, I come across a YouTubrity (TM) (that's my term for a You Tube celebrity, lol) that I just have to pass on to my readers. This month its Michelle Phan (www.michellephan.com). Check this out - she is a professional make-up artist, has nearly 500,ooo subscribers to her YouTube channel, and her videos have over 103 million views (yes, million).
What I like best about Michelle is that she is SO creative. She can create a make-up look from almost anything. Most recently, she showed her take on Avatar, Snow White, and even Lady Gaga. What I like is that she doesn't create literal reproductions (well Lady Gaga was a bit literal), but rather her interpretation of her muse of the moment.
Besides all of the cool make-up tutorials, she also provides some interesting skin care videos as well. My faves are her champagne, tomato, and dry skin videos.
The production quality of her videos has really improved over time. Her latest videos are really very well done, much better than some professional videos I've seen. They are impressive.

Michelle Phan is one of my favorites. You are so correct when you talk about how she can creative an amazing look with a few simple products. I also like her soothing tone and the camera angles and the music.

Michelle Phan's tips can really transform a normal looking girl into a stunningly beautiful one with the power of makeup. Yes, you don't have to edit for your pictures. She has this recent vid that she put up on her RiceBunny account about getting a whiter smile. When I watched it, I was like "Yes! At last she shared a tip for whiter teeth using makeup!" She recommended a good toothpaste to help with that, too.

Michelle Phan's make up skills are awesome! Any girl would definitely want to look her best when going places, right? Okay, gotta go and check her Youtube account now. Haha!
